Suicide Prevention & Crisis Resources

If you’re thinking about suicide, are worried about a friend or loved one, or would like emotional support, the Lifeline network is available 24/7 across the United States. Kern BHRS also offers a 24 hour crisis line.

If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. If you are located in Kern County, ask the police to dispatch the Mobile Evaluation Team (MET), which is a team of trained mental health professionals whom will assess the situation.
