Hailey Hicks, Psy.D.

Dr. Hailey Hicks graduated with her doctorate degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus. She relocated to Bakersfield, a place she now calls home, to finish her internship at Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (formerly Kern County Mental Health). Dr. Hicks has several years experience evaluating and providing therapeutic services to children and families in outpatient community mental health, court-mandated and non-court-involved adults and families in private practice, and incarcerated youth. She is also a part-time lecturer in the Psychology Department at California State University, Bakersfield. In her free time, Dr. Hicks enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Netflix, and doing arts and crafts. She would be honored to work with you!
Jason Giffard, LMFT

Jason Giffard, LMFT received his master’s of science in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Fullerton. He has been practicing for over a decade and has experience working with youth, families, adults, and couples struggling with a variety of issues and life stressors. Jason is a unit supervisor and clinical supervisor at Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. He teaches part-time in the Psychology Department and Master’s of Counseling Program at California State University, Bakersfield. Jason has also been featured in several local news stories, where he provided expertise on various mental health behaviors and conditions. He is a Bakersfield native, and, in his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and cycling as often as possible. Jason looks forward to the opportunity to work with you.
